Klaas Jarchow has been a book publisher for many years. In Hamburg, he managed Rogner & Bernhard Verlag from 1996 and established and managed Murmann Verlag from 2004. RESEARCH TRANSFER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND ECONOMIC SUCCESS OF OUR CLIENTS.
IMPART, the Institute for Motivation and Personality Development, Assessment, Research & Training, was founded in 1998 as a private research and transfer institute. Since then, a cooperation agreement has ensured close links with the University of Osnabrück. There, at the Department of Differential Psychology of the University of Osnabrück, Professor Dr. Julius Kuhl and his team developed novel test and training procedures based on the innovative personality function analysis and a systemic function theory.
IMPART is committed to its task of facilitating the transfer of these highly insightful test and training procedures into clinical, educational and entrepreneurial practice, promoting their suitability for everyday use and supporting their users.
IMPART is thus committed to the vision of a close interdisciplinary interlocking and intensive cooperation between scientists and users from schools and universities, industry, business and administration as well as clinics and practice. This tried and tested mutual interaction of the partners is supported by the image of the human personality on which systemic functional analysis is based.
On the one hand, IMPART accelerates the transfer of knowledge and technology between research and practice with its services, but on the other hand it also contributes to the constant promotion and sustainable enrichment of university research; for example, by providing test data from the application for the ongoing optimisation and expansion of practice-relevant and practice-suitable methods as well as through cooperative research activities with the Department of Differential Psychology at the University of Osnabrück and with other leading scientific institutions in this field.

PROFESSOR DR. JULIUS KUHL (BORN 27. 7. 1947) HAS REPRESENTED THE SUBJECT OF DIFFERENTIAL PSYCHOLOGY AND PERSONALITY RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OSNABRÜCK SINCE 1986.
After working for several years on a developmental psychology project at the Max Planck Institute for Psychological Research in Munich and research stays in the USA (Michigan, Stanford) and Mexico, his research focussed on self-control and affect regulation. This research formed the basis for a new personality theory that integrates advances in motivation, development, cognitive and neuropsychology (PSI theory). Building on this work, a new methodology for diagnosing personal competencies has been developed in recent years, which determines a comprehensive analysis of existing and developable potentials in children and adults (EOS: development-oriented system diagnostics).
The focus of his research is voluntary action control. With the PSI theory, Kuhl created a comprehensive theory of voluntary action control and integrated theories from many psychological sub-disciplines.
